The Daily Dread
Yesterday
I sat down to read
Then I forgot to get up
Kept turning the page
creepy orange radish
wants to turnip the grief on
non-elite parsnips
dementia leads us
waist deep in the big muddy
with unclear vision
Went to see a snow leopard
At the Lincoln Park Zoo
Instead I saw no leopard
However the zoo
Was filthy with wild life
i.e. children
Enormity is
Established after two steps
Off the bluff of time
