Yesterday
off in the distance
what seemed to be the glimmer
of fireworks was
instead the unleashed fury
of hunter killer wrath drones
stopping for green lights
built for comfort not for speed
with nineteen eighties
ultra cool blue on the side
extra mellow fellow plate
willing to assist
teetering on tenterhooks
with those delicate
behind the back hooks and eyes
to receive my special treat
