Sounds like me watching out my front window yesterday as a pair of mockingbirds dive bombed a much bigger bird who sat on the wires and bobbed and ducked. Finally had enough and flew to the trees across the street. Only to be followed by a pair of mockingbirds.
Nature is fascinating. I have watched those birds stave off the bullies like blue jays and cardinals, but when they took on this bigger bird (small raptor bird, maybe?)…whew. I think the raptor just gave up and tried to fly away. Small but mighty those little ones!

Given the chance all little raptors become birds of prey. Especially when they feel their territory is being challenged.
