Well placed tourniquet
May staunch national bleeding
But an infusion
Of decency is called for
Replenish dearth of honor
Best people promised
Delivered hucksters and frauds
Germ deniers all
Not a washed hand in the bunch
But they sure do dress purty
Cherished by a once
Aspirational nation
Transfusion needed
From those that have sold the truth
For their own capital gains
Keep moving. Nothing to see here.
