Remember: A.I. thinks the word “memories” has four syllables. They are: me-m-o-ries. ๐Ÿคฃ

Hey That's Me !

In spite of all that, music has played an important part throughout my life.

  1. Choir
  2. Guitarist
  3. Singer
  4. Dancer
  5. Editor
  6. Actor
  7. Listener

Sure it was a church choir, garage band guitarist, high school, college, community productions. Musical theater singer, dancer, and actor in front of big and small crowds alike. I even got paid for a summer acting gig once. Not musical, but since I’m bragging. . .

What I did get paid for and quite well thank you was as a film, video, and digital editor. There I orchestrated numerous medlies of picture, voice, music, and sound effects many times over many years. If there is no music in the way the pictures flow before the eye and the dialog plays to the ear then it’s back to the cutting room.

See Ma, I didn’t waste my entire youth on trivial pursuits.

It also has taught me my most important skill.

I listen

I just love this performance and song ๐Ÿ˜

Once I had a guide
Lead me through perilous lands
Ill advised choices
Never there. Then went poof
Deserted and despondent

makes up stories to guide it
follows bad advice
from a wise and trusted guide
that was never there at all

Alternate timelines

Episodic syfy shows
Ad nauseam operas
