gleefully passing
The Grip to those who haven't
gained immunity
Whispers in my ear
Passing butterfly advice
Don't float, bee the sting
when in the grip of
an existential crisis
best to just exist
memories flood the zone
while I try to convince myself
I've immunity from the past
another day another koan
take haiku down from the shelf
tasty tanka breaks the fast
a shot of poetry gets me through
immune until the next days brew
curl, potion, robin, unicycle, and bombast.
With reckless bombast, Robin rides a motorized unicycle. Crashing into a bowl to join a birdie bathing bacchanal, which Robin hadn’t been invited to. A party where illicit potions were being served that would curl their little dirty birdy feet.
