The Daily Dread

Phrazez that Payzez

Explicit comfort
Feasible joy

Gwyneth Paltrow hawks
Her personal star fragrance
In candle format 👃

mesmerizing drop
gravity revealed what
garment once concealed

we're all complicit
in the illicit actions
taken in our name

want feasible joy
from an illicit drop of
fragrance of a star
a guaranteed wash over
of pure explicit comfort

The Daily Dread

Thankful for the day
I can spend as I prefer
Basting straw turkeys

Uncanned spam leading
A dearth of distilled data
Learning pollution

Kippy Chiquita
Between the green and the black
There was yellowing

Kippy Chiquita
Wore a fruit basket headpiece
Swore that was her name
A festive Thanksgiving dance
In a flouncy yellow dress

Holiday learning
Prefer finding out about
Old family members
Reading yellowing journals
While spilling new tea gossip

Cogito hill climb
Drop my morning bucket down
Hilltop haiku well

First snow has become
Hard crumbly grey ground cover
Crunchy trails for me

with all the criming
multiplied by the number
of lies being told
little wonder trust total
adds up to great big zero

Face masked tricksters stomp
Halloween and every day
Up and down the block
Treats us to brutality
Play violent peek-a-boo

Enjoy special cosplay writhe served up on Halloween night.

We wriggle and writhe
Out of our trick or treat duds
Birthday suit playtime

Foggy night football
Nobody could see a thing
SOP for refs

Halloween night flight
Razor wire kite tail gleams
Watch bloody crowds writhe

The Daily Dread

Observe from afar
Stupefied into silence
The daily discourse

About time for golden silence to infect the occupant

Occasionally struck
By a stray ray of kismet
Causality queue
Affect a casual stance
While waiting for the effect

Three sheets to the wind
One maudlin Martini slurp
Follows another
A blizzard of bar coasters
Under turned over new leaves

a ray of reason
can break the maudlin silence
by turning new leaves

Phrazez that Payzez

Turning common misery
Into ordinary unhappiness
One day at a time.

I may not be a great marksman, but I once shot an ocelot in my slippers and pajamas. How that cat got into my pajamas I’ll never know. But the story always made Captain Spaulding drool when he entered through his stolen Groucho Marx joke portal.

a shovel and wand
will unearth the unearthly
granfalloon woo woo
to spoon feed clueless creepers
from a bony cosplay claw

our decrepitude
ruthless rancid and randy
offends all senses
waddling around the world
worst of us on full display

Rancid Fox allusions served up on moldy Republican platitudes

ease out of the deep
covered in rancid seaweed
compressed in white rice
the chicken of the sea waits
to be choked down wet and raw

The Daily Dread

Sheets warm from the first
As the second slipped between
Spent and left drowsy
Crept off for liaison three
He was quite the libertine

blood toil tears and sweat
through the haze of history
a zero sum bet
the hoi polloi ante up
aristocrats take the skim

Every other stride brings my bane in a purple haze of pain

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
makes my eyes all misty with
franchise memories

libertine geese fly
off into the misty gray
instinct driven haze

Choo Choo Mama: Roll the dice my little cupcake and I’ll recite a poem for you. If it comes up snake eyes you can give the poem a critique. But if it comes up with boxcars, I guess I’ll just have to murder you. That’s how my literary train rolls.

some barely conscious
of IRL surroundings
subsumed all day while
partaking of violent games
ingesting haughty delights

Open eyes receive
Open ears and minds absorb
Harvest stimuli

I met the new moon
Just the same as the old moon
Shadow creep display

In new moon dreaming
I harvest my conscious thoughts
Til sunrise bird song

another day to
inflict my predilection
for snark on the world

a sudden bout of
boisterous behavior ends
a long-term friendship

Talking head pungent
Sold this President
Smile indecent
Bought by Pepsodent
Current resident
Not a proper gent
Everywhere he went
His welcome was spent
With loud vile vent
With no precedent
Opinions for rent
For ratings percent

Zero
The numerical expression
Of the answer to the question:
"Can absence be present
And nothingness exist?"
