Proposal Letter Shuposal Letter.
“Ain’t nobody got time for dat”
Once upon a time, being a googly eyed romantic at heart, I might have drafted such an earnest and honest letter in cursive; while taking into account all the changes in societal norms and expectations. But now all it takes is a text,
“U up?”
(ironic punctuation added as a nod to past formalities, but by no means current common practice amongst today’s texters )
Direct and to the point.
Surprisingly successful as well.

Indeed. Thanks for reading😁 But I’ll bet you half a peach the first person to receive such a proposal in the form of cuneiform on a tablet, rather than delivered verbally and in person, felt it a bit impersonal as well. The medium is not the message. Take that Herbert Marshall McLuhan.
