Yesterday
the best thing about
haiku is it lets me be
briefly brief in brief
river mouth lined with
withered reeds as rising sea
levels force the brine
further up the river flow
changing the ecosystem
mental cough known as
a scoff will expectorate
airborne balderdash

I exercise my troll neighbour daily. He chases me across the bridge to a train.
When I close my eyes
I dream of weeks spent on small
