Covered in times soot This old coot don't scoot As a geezer I'm quite the wheezer Not much of a pleaser An occasional teaser I think about this I think about that Now I wonder Is the past tense of scoot Scat
Considering how long life has been scuttling around on this heap of magma, lava, smegma, and other solidified forms of said substances: I need to know after which flood do you inquire. So I wrote this tanka instead.
Misunderstood bugs Antediluvian ants And what they hath wrought Things my Uncle George did with My Auntie Diluvian

Hey That's Me !
In spite of all that, music has played an important part throughout my life.

Sure it was a church choir, garage band guitarist, high school, college, community productions. Musical theater singer, dancer, and actor in front of big and small crowds alike. I even got paid for a summer acting gig once. Not musical, but since I’m bragging. . .
What I did get paid for and quite well thank you was as a film, video, and digital editor. There I orchestrated numerous medlies of picture, voice, music, and sound effects many times over many years. If there is no music in the way the pictures flow before the eye and the dialog plays to the ear then it’s back to the cutting room.
See Ma, I didn’t waste my entire youth on trivial pursuits.
